About Us
RBF Comms was established in 1993 to supply and repair telephone equipment for the communications industry.
For over 20 years, RBF has delivered a bespoke high quality, flexible and responsive repair, refurbishment, recovery and recycling service. RBF provide a “one stop shop” solution in that we can collect, refurbish, repair, resell and dispose of stock all at our site based in South Wales for our Customers.
We have been proud to work in partnership with many Blue Chip Customers within the Telecommunication Industry and through a fully bespoke approach, RBF are able to accommodate both bulk ongoing orders and one-off requirements.

Accreditations
Authorised Treatment Facility
An Authorised Approved Treatment Facility (AATF) is a waste treatment site that has an approval to process WEEE. Treatment can include disassembly, shredding, recovery or preparation for disposal. RBF facility has been an AATF since 2010 which enables us to produce official evidence notes in line with the WEEE Directive.
T11 exemption
RBF have held the T11 exemption since 2010 which enables us to repair, refurbish or dismantle various types of WEEE so that the whole unit or any dismantled parts can be reused for its original purpose.
Approved Exporter
RBF have been an Approved Exporter since 2012 which permits RBF export materials extracted from WEEE for treatment, recovery or recycling outside the UK.
Approved Waste Carrier
RBF has been an approved waster carrier since 2009 which permits RBF to collect waste from Customers and to issue a Waste Transfer note.
ISO 9001
An internationally recognised standard for implementing effective Quality Management Systems. RBF have been accredited since 2004.
ISO 14001
An internationally recognised standard for implementing effective Environmental Management Systems. RBF achieved accreditation in 2006.
